The 50th Union World Conference on Lung Health in Hyderabad, India, will bring together researchers, global advocates, scientists, healthcare professionals, students and community members working on all aspects of lung health.
We stand at a momentous point in time, with the conference coming one year after the UN High-Level Meeting on NCDS and the first ever United Nations High-Level Meeting on tuberculosis (TB). The conference theme Ending the Emergency: Science, Leadership, Action focuses on what is needed to ensure commitments become action, and that life saving targets are met.
Abstracts, symposia, satellite sessions, post-graduate courses and workshops on lung health issues such as TB and TB co-infections, tobacco control, air pollution, COPD, pneumonia, civil society and community engagement, human rights and other topics are welcomed.
Please read the guidelines for abstracts and sessions submission carefully before you begin. Your session must be submitted under one of the official tracks for the conference, please note the list of tracks have been updated this year.
You are also able to read the review criteria for the programme selection set by the Coordinating Committee of Scientific Activities (CCSA).
Once you have read the guidelines, you can submit a session or submit an abstract.
The deadline for submissions of abstracts, symposia, post-graduate courses and workshops is 22 April. Satellite session submissions are open until 12 July with a second round of submissions from 13 July – 13 September, upon availability.
